The Honest Limitations
We believe in transparency. Here's what ceramic coating can't do — so you can make a fully informed decision.
- Not scratch-proof — While 9H hardness provides excellent scratch resistance, it cannot prevent rock chips or deep impact damage
- Requires curing time — Full cross-linking takes 2-3 weeks to achieve maximum hardness — no washing during initial cure
- Magnifies existing defects — Any scratches or swirls become more visible under coating, which is why paint correction is essential first
