Last updated: February 15, 2026

Waiver and Release of Liability

By authorizing EuroLuxe Detailing ("Company") to perform auto detailing services on your vehicle, you ("Customer") acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Please read this waiver carefully before authorizing any work.

1. Assumption of Risk

You understand that auto detailing, ceramic coating, paint protection film installation, paint correction, and window tinting involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Paint correction: Machine polishing may reveal pre-existing defects including thin paint, previous body work, or factory imperfections that were masked by oxidation, swirl marks, or contamination
  • Ceramic coating: Coatings bond permanently to the paint surface and may make pre-existing defects more visible
  • PPF installation: Paint protection film installation may reveal or highlight existing paint imperfections beneath the film
  • Window tinting: Film application may reveal pre-existing glass defects including micro-scratches or delamination. Small dust particles may occasionally be trapped during installation
  • Trim and exterior components: Aged, worn, or aftermarket trim, emblems, antennas, and accessories may become loose or damaged during standard washing, claying, or polishing procedures

2. Pre-Existing Conditions

You acknowledge that your vehicle may have pre-existing conditions that could affect the outcome of services, including:

  • Thin or damaged factory paint
  • Previous body work, repaints, or touch-ups
  • Rust, corrosion, or oxidation
  • Rock chips, scratches, and dents
  • Aftermarket modifications
  • Previous ceramic coatings, waxes, or sealants

The Company performs a pre-service inspection and will document existing conditions. The Company is not responsible for issues arising from pre-existing conditions.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of Texas, you hereby release, waive, and discharge EuroLuxe Detailing, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to:

  • Damage to pre-existing defects that become visible after service
  • Removal or loosening of previously applied coatings, films, or accessories during preparation
  • Normal wear and degradation of aged paint, trim, or components
  • Damage to aftermarket or non-OEM parts and accessories
  • Issues covered under manufacturer warranty (redirected to the manufacturer)

4. Personal Property

The Company is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle during service. We recommend removing all valuables, electronics, and personal items before dropping off your vehicle. While we take reasonable precautions, we are not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal property.

5. Authorization to Perform Services

By scheduling and authorizing services, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal owner or authorized representative of the vehicle
  • You authorize the Company to perform the agreed-upon services
  • You have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this waiver
  • You have disclosed any known conditions or concerns about your vehicle

6. Photography and Media

The Company may photograph or video your vehicle before, during, and after service for documentation, quality assurance, and marketing purposes. If you do not wish your vehicle to be used for marketing, please notify us in writing before service begins.

7. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
