Revitalize Your Ride

Your complete guide to ceramic coating, PPF, paint correction, and window tinting

Protect Your Investment

Your vehicle is one of your biggest investments. Whether you drive a daily commuter or a weekend showpiece, the right combination of protection services keeps it looking factory-new for years. Here's what you need to know about each service, what they cost, and how they work together.

Service 01

Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer based on silicon dioxide (SiO2) that chemically bonds with your vehicle's clear coat at the molecular level. When applied, it creates an ultra-thin, glass-like barrier with 9H hardness — the highest on the pencil hardness scale — delivering exceptional scratch resistance and a hydrophobic surface that causes water to bead and roll off effortlessly.

The Pros

  • Molecular-level protection — creates a permanent chemical bond with clear coat, not just a surface layer
  • Hydrophobic properties — water beads into tight spheres and sheets off, making washing significantly easier
  • Enhanced gloss and depth — amplifies paint clarity for a glass-like finish
  • UV and chemical resistance — shields paint from oxidation, acid rain, bird droppings, and environmental contaminants

The Honest Limitations

  • Not scratch-proof — while 9H provides excellent scratch resistance, it cannot prevent rock chips or deep impact scratches
  • Requires curing time — full cross-linking takes 2-3 weeks to achieve maximum hardness
  • Magnifies existing defects — any scratches or swirls become more visible, which is why paint correction is essential first

Longevity

Professional-grade coatings last 5-10 years with proper maintenance. Premium coatings carry warranties up to 9+ years.

Price Range

  • Compact cars/SUVs: $700-$900
  • Large SUVs/trucks: $1,000-$1,500

Best Paired With

  • Paint Correction — essential to prep surface first
  • PPF — coating on top of film for ultimate protection
  • Window Tint — exterior + interior UV protection

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

PPF is a thermoplastic urethane (TPU) film applied to painted surfaces that absorbs and dissipates energy from rock chips, scratches, and road debris. Premium self-healing PPF contains specialized elastomers that flow back into their original shape when exposed to heat — from Texas sun, warm water, or a heat gun — with minor scratches disappearing within 24-48 hours.

The Pros

  • Impact protection — absorbs rock chips and road debris that would otherwise damage paint
  • Self-healing technology — minor scratches and swirls disappear automatically with heat
  • Preserves vehicle value — vehicles with PPF show 50% less paint deterioration after 3 years
  • Optical clarity — maintains clarity for 10+ years with hydrophobic top coats

The Honest Limitations

  • Higher upfront cost — full-vehicle PPF is the most expensive option, but provides the highest physical protection
  • Not fully invisible — edges may be slightly visible under certain lighting conditions
  • Surface scratches only — self-healing works on surface marks; deeper cuts that penetrate the film cannot self-repair

Longevity

Premium TPU-based PPF lasts 7-10 years with proper care. Our UltraFit PPF comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Price Range

  • Partial front: $900-$1,300
  • Full front-end: $1,700-$2,100
  • Full vehicle: $5,500-$8,500+

Best Paired With

  • Ceramic Coating on top — extends film life, adds hydrophobic properties
  • Paint Correction first — ensures flawless surface under the film

Service 03

Ceramic Window Tinting

Ceramic window tint uses non-metallic, nano-ceramic particles embedded in the film to block heat and UV radiation without interfering with electronic signals. Unlike dyed tint (which fades) or metallic tint (which blocks GPS, Bluetooth, and radio signals), ceramic tint delivers superior heat rejection while maintaining full signal transparency.

The Pros

  • Superior heat rejection — blocks 80-98% of infrared radiation, keeping your cabin significantly cooler
  • 99% UV protection — protects passengers and interior materials from sun damage and fading
  • No signal interference — won't disrupt GPS, cell phones, radio, or Bluetooth
  • Lifetime durability — lasts the life of the vehicle without fading or turning purple

The Honest Limitations

  • Premium pricing — costs 2-3x more than basic dyed tint due to the ceramic particle technology
  • Professional install required — improper application causes bubbling or peeling; DIY not recommended

Texas Window Tint Laws

Front side windows must allow at least 25% VLT (Visible Light Transmission). Back side windows and rear windows can be any darkness level as long as the vehicle has dual side-view mirrors.

Longevity

Premium ceramic window tint comes with lifetime warranties against fading, peeling, and bubbling.

Price Range

  • Coupes: Starting at $400
  • Sedans/trucks: $500-$600
  • Large SUVs: $650-$750
  • Full windshield: $150-$200
  • Windshield brow: $50

Best Paired With

  • Ceramic Coating — exterior paint protection + interior UV/heat protection
  • PPF + Ceramic + Tint — the ultimate full-vehicle package

Essential Prep

Paint Correction: The Foundation

Paint correction is a multi-stage machine polishing process that removes swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and water etching from your clear coat. It's the essential first step before any protective coating — ceramic and PPF are transparent and will magnify existing defects, not hide them.

Light Polish

$400-$600

Light polish for newer vehicles with minor swirls and hazing.

Most Popular

1-Stage Correction

$600-$1,000

Single-stage compound + polish. Removes moderate swirls and scratches.

2-Stage Correction

$1,400-$1,900

Heavy cutting compound + finishing polish. Full correction for neglected paint.

Better Together: Service Combinations

Each service protects against different threats. Combining them creates a complete shield that no single service can match.

POPULAR

PPF + Ceramic Coating

The ultimate protection stack. PPF stops what hits your paint (rocks, debris, scratches) while ceramic coating stops what lands on it (UV rays, bird droppings, acid rain, tree sap). Ceramic coating on top of PPF also extends the film's lifespan by protecting it from UV degradation that causes yellowing and cracking.

Ceramic Coating + Window Tint

Full-spectrum protection. Ceramic coating guards your exterior paint from UV oxidation and chemical damage while ceramic window tint blocks 99% of UV rays and up to 98% of infrared heat from reaching your cabin. In Texas, this combination is practically a necessity.

BEST VALUE

PPF + Ceramic + Window Tint

The complete package. Physical impact protection, chemical resistance, hydrophobic maintenance, UV blocking, and heat rejection. This is the most comprehensive protection available for any vehicle. While the upfront investment is significant, the long-term value is undeniable.

PPF: 7-10 years

Ceramic: 5-10 years

Tint: Lifetime
